Designer Swap- MonkeysBug

designer swapHi! This is Terra from Terra’s Treasures. I love participating in the designers swaps and I had the awesome pleasure of sewing up the Roundabout Wrap Pinafore dress from MonkeysBug. I love this dress! It’s a fairly easy sew, and it came out amazing!

It features beautiful pintucks and decorative buttons on the front bodice. These can be optional so that the pattern is even easier for a beginner. Speaking of beginners, this pattern is very detailed and has amazing instructions. Also, if you exclude the pintucks and buttons, the crossover back can now become the front of the dress. I love it when you can change things up with a pattern.

The trim along the bottom adds a beautiful touch to allow for corresponding fabric. It’s also folded over, so that you don’t have to hem it. Awesome idea!

Hi Terra. I wasn’t sure how to reach you, but I wanted to let you know that I love the Lisse Cowl and Hoodie pattern! I made one for myself and one for my daughter. If you’d like, you can see some pictures of her wearing her Lisse hoodie on my blog here: http://cathymakesstuff.blogspot.ca/2015/11/valeries-lisse-hoodie.html Anyway, just wanted to tell you how much I like the pattern and show you a picture of one of the ones I made.
